Our Weekly Goalie Skills will focus on a skill each week. This allows for goalies to narrow their focus and learn to fine tune their skills. We focus on movement to balance, positioning to save selections, and recovery to game situations.
These sessions are focused on precision and repetition. There will be a 4:1 ratio of goalies to instructors.
Instructors will demonstrate drills for specific skill development and coach each player to insure the drills are done correctly. First at half speed to master the technique, then building into full game speed. Habits are created in practice and goaltending is a position that relies heavily on correct habits.
