Makem Demers


Makem Demers is a Western Massachusetts native who currently attends Curry College as a Sophomore and is also playing for their men’s Ice Hockey team. While at Curry College Makem plans to Major in Business and minor in Sports Management. 
Before attending College Makem played two years of juniors for the Maine Nordiques of the NAHL, treated as a professional hockey player traveling all over the states. In High School, Makem attended Pope Francis Preparatory in Springfield, MA. He attended the school for all four years and played all fours years of varsity hockey. For two years, he and his team went on to play in the Massachusetts D1A State Finals held at the TD Garden in Boston. 
Makem was taught the game of hockey by many coaches and now plans to teach it himself. This is his first time coaching at RB Hockey and he hopes to continue and grow as a coach. Makem will bring great energy day in and day out as he looks forward to helping coach the next generation of hockey players.
